This site exists to help people over 50 discover and master computing and the Internet so they can take advantage of all it has to offer.
If you're post 50 and want to learn how to get going or get more out of computers, the Internet, or your mobile phone this site is for you. We try to cover computing basics in a way that makes them easy for the beginner or technophobic, but to also introduce fun new technology applications for you to explore.
This site was started by Nancy Muir, the author of Computers for Seniors for Dummies, Laptops for Seniors for Dummies, iPads for Seniors for Dummies, Using the Internet Safely for Seniors for Dummies (with Linda Criddle) and an expert column on Computers & the Internet on Retirenet.com. Nancy has worked in the software and publishing industries, and written over 60 books on technology topics.
